"Regard it as just as desirable to build a chicken house as to build a cathedral." Frank Lloyd Wright
Just a little something in my new moleskine. I love iris. They remind me of my grandmother's. They both had flowers but my mothers mom had the most beautiful garden. She raised both flowers and vegetables but the iris and the peonies were phenomenal. I also like that they are a surprise. They have sword like fans and up from the fans comes this beautiful delicate ruffled flower. Mine usually bloom towards the end of May. And the riot of color is something to see.
The chicken was just for fun.
Really nice moleskine pages! I really like how you did the folds of the petals, and taking a left corner of the page just makes it look so classy! The chicken is awesome too, and yep it does look like you had fun doing it ^^

It's quite obvious that you love the pencil. Your sketches are powerful.
ReplyDeleteVery very nice! You're right...the irises are so incredibly delicate and thei leaves are so fierce. The chicken is great!
